Cote d’Ivoire Cocoa Waste to Energy Plant is a 60MW biopower project. It is planned in Goh-Djiboua, Ivory Coast. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.

The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $273m.
Forest residue which is a kind of agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.
