Description

The project was developed by Photosolar Medina 3 and X-ELIO Energy. The project is currently owned by China Three Gorges with a stake of 100%.

CSF Carril Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 108.8 hectares.

The project generates 107.661GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 31,607 households, offsetting 69,978t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Nexus Energia under a power purchase agreement for a period of 14 years.

Contractors involved

JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 142,800 modules each with 385W of nameplate capacity.

Huawei Technologies supplied 309 of its SUN2000-168TL-H0 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by Solar Steel Gonvarri Industries.
