Description

The project is currently owned by Iran Power Development.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in September 2009.

MAPNA Combined Cycle Power plants Constraction & Development was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Damavand Combined Cycle Power Plant (Damavand Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing E30-16-1-1×6.3 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 160MW nameplate capacity.

Damavand Combined Cycle Power Plant (Damavand Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing MGT-70 gas turbines. The phase consists of 2 gas turbines with 159MW nameplate capacity.

Damavand Combined Cycle Power Plant (Damavand Combined Cycle Power Plant Block II) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing E30-16-1-1×6.3 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 160MW nameplate capacity.
