Damietta Gas Turbine Power Plant is a 500MW gas fired power project. It is located in Damietta, Egypt. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in July 2011.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Light Fuel Oil.
The project generated 2,940,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $452.53m.
The project got commissioned in July 2011.
Kharafi National was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of 9E gas turbines, each with 125MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
