Description
The project was developed by Chevron Geothermal Indonesia. The project is currently owned by AC Energy and Infrastructure with a stake of 19.8%, Electricity Generating Public and Star Energy Geothermal Holdings.
The geothermal plant is of dry steam type.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in January 1994.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the Darajat Geothermal Power Plant (Darajat Phase III) is sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Kanematsu, PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia and PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructors were selected to render EPC services for the Darajat Geothermal Power Plant (Darajat Phase III).
Darajat Geothermal Power Plant (Darajat Phase I) is equipped with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries turbines.
Darajat Geothermal Power Plant (Darajat Phase II) is equipped with Fuji Electric FA Components & Systems turbines.
Darajat Geothermal Power Plant (Darajat Phase III) is equipped with Fuji Electric FA Components & Systems turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 110MW nameplate capacity.
