Description
The project is developed by B.Grimm Renewable Power 1 and Xuan Cau. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.
Dau Tieng Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.
The project generates 688,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 320,000 households, offsetting 595,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $393m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the Dau Tieng Solar PV Park (Dau Tieng 1 Solar PV Park) is sold to Electricity Corporation of Vietnam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.093kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 150MW.
The power generated from the Dau Tieng Solar PV Park (Dau Tieng 2 Solar PV Park) is sold to Electricity Corporation of Vietnam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.093kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 200MW.
Contractors Involved
Power China Huadong Engineering and Sinohydro were selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the Dau Tieng Solar PV Park (Dau Tieng 2 Solar PV Park). The company installed 760,000 modules at the site.
The inverters were procured from Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems for the Dau Tieng Solar PV Park (Dau Tieng 1 Solar PV Park).
Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems supplied 80 inverters to the Dau Tieng Solar PV Park (Dau Tieng 2 Solar PV Park) site.
