Description

The project is currently owned by CMS Enterprises.

It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Blast Furnace Gas. The fuel is procured from DTE Gas Company Pipeline.

Dearborn Industrial Generating Station (Dearborn Industrial Generation GT Power Plant Unit III) consists of 1 steam turbine with 250MW nameplate capacity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in June 2001.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Midcontinent Independent System Operator under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Dearborn Industrial Generating Station (Dearborn Industrial Generation GT Power Plant Unit I) is equipped with GE Power MS7001FA-60 Hz gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 170MW nameplate capacity.

Dearborn Industrial Generating Station (Dearborn Industrial Generation GT Power Plant Unit II) is equipped with GE Power MS7001FA-60 Hz gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 170MW nameplate capacity.
