Description

The project was developed by GenPower Services and is currently owned by Associated Electric Cooperative with a stake of 100%.

It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant that is used for Middle load. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Enable Arkansas Gas Transmission.

The project generated 156,766MWh of electricity.

SNC-Lavalin Constructors was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the dual-fuel fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Dual-Fuel fired project. The company provided 2 units of 7F.04 gas turbines, each with 170MW nameplate capacity.
