Engie and Brookfield Renewable UK are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.
Dinorwig is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project is 557m. Dinorwig underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2018-2020.

Contractors Involved
B Fouress was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 6 units of francis turbines, each with 288MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 6 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 330 MVA.
