Dnister is a run-of-river project. Dnister (Dnister 1) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1997-2002.
Development Status
The project construction commenced in 1975 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1981.
Contractors Involved
Dnister (Dnister 1) is equipped with Turboatom kaplan turbines. The phase consists of 6 turbines with 117MW nameplate capacity.
Dnister (Dnister 2) is equipped with Dnepr-SpetsGydroEnergoMontazh Open Joint-Stock kaplan turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 13.6MW nameplate capacity.
