Description

The project was developed by Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV. Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, CKD Infraestructura Mexico and Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40.2%, 39.2% and 20% respectively.

Don Jose Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,300 hectares.

The project generates 625GWh electricity thereby offsetting 340,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 850,000 modules.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2017 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in May 2018.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.

Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
