The project was developed by Kenyir Gunkul Solar Sdn. Kenyir Solar Park Sdn and Gunkul Engineering Public are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

Dungun Solar PV Park-1 is a ground-mounted solar project.
