The project was developed by Hive Energy and is currently owned by Luxcara.
El Salobral Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 90 hectares.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 127,000 households, offsetting 100,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $34.643m.
The project consists of 138,000 modules.

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2020.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Alpiq Holding under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Grupotec Servicios Avanzados was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
