Este de La Habana Power Plant is a 300MW oil fired power project. It is located in Mayabeque, Cuba. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1995.

Description
The project is currently owned by Union Electrica de Cuba.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is fuel oil. In case of shortage of fuel oil the plant can also run on Natural Gas.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 1995.
