Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Korea East-West Power.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.
The project cost is expected to be around $1,010.976m.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by December 2024.
Contractors Involved
POSCO Engineering & Construction is expected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Eumseong CCGT Power Project (Eumseong CCGT Power Project Unit I) will be equipped with Siemens Energy steam turbine. The phase consists 1 steam turbine.
Eumseong CCGT Power Project (Eumseong CCGT Power Project Unit I) will be equipped with Siemens Energy 9000HL gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine.
Siemens Energy is expected to be the supplier of SGen-3000W electric generator for the Eumseong CCGT Power Project (Eumseong CCGT Power Project Unit I).
