The project was developed by Duke Energy Renewables. The project is currently owned by Duke Energy Renewables with a stake of 51% and John Hancock Life Insurance.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households. The project cost is $366.229m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to City Utilities of Springfield under a power purchase agreement for a period of 22 years from 2016. The contracted capacity is 200MW.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 61 units of V126-3.3 MW – IEC IIIA turbines, each with 3.3MW nameplate capacity.
