Fundao is a 122.5MW hydro power project. It is located on Jordao river/basin in Parana, Brazil. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2006.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the Fundao (Fundao Phase I) is sold to Copel Geracao e Transmissao under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Fundao (Fundao Phase I) is equipped with IMPSA francis turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 61MW nameplate capacity.

Fundao (Fundao Phase II) is equipped with Moller Energi francis turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 2.55MW nameplate capacity.

IMPSA supplied 2 electric generators for the Fundao (Fundao Phase I). The generator capacity is 66.76 MVA.

WEG supplied 1 electric generator for the Fundao (Fundao Phase II). The generator capacity is 2.75 MVA.
