Description
The project is currently owned by Tennessee Valley Authority with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from CGulf.
The project generated 45,785MWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in July 1975.
