Description
The project was developed by Gansu Huadian Guazhou Wind Farm and is currently owned by China Huadian.
The project generates 457,742MWh electricity thereby offsetting 425,368t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $311.55m.
Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2010.
Contractors Involved
Sinovel Wind Group was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 134 units of SL1500/82 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
