Description

The project is currently owned by Societe Tunisienne de l’Electricite et du Gaz with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.

GE Power supplied TOPGAS electric generator for the project.

GE Power supplied steam boiler for the project.

GE Power is the O&M contractor for thermal power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2011, for a period of 12 years.
