The project was developed by Green Genius, SNG Solar UAB and Trident Energy. The project is currently owned by Green Genius.

Green Genius Ivano-Frankivsk Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 19 hectares.

The project generates 14,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 9,329 households, offsetting 12,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 2019.

Contractors involved

Power-Montage was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Astroenergy was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 42,720 modules each with 310W of nameplate capacity.

Huawei Technologies supplied 178 of its SUN2000-60KTL-M0 inverters to the project site.
