Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station is a 2,580MW coal fired power project. It is located in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2007.

Description

The project was developed by CLP Guangxi Fangchenggang Power. CLP Holdings and Guangxi Water & Electric Power Construction Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70% and 30% respectively.

It is a steam turbine power plant.

The project emitted 9,901t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station (Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station Phase I Unit I) is sold to Guangxi Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.

The power generated from the Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station (Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station Phase I Unit II) is sold to Guangxi Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

CLP Holdings was selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.

MHPS Dongfang Boiler supplied steam boiler for the Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station (Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station Phase I Unit I).

MHPS Dongfang Boiler supplied steam boiler for the Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station (Guangxi Fangchenggang Power Station Phase I Unit II).

CLP Holdings is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
