The project was developed by EnviTec Biogas and Schmack Biogas. The project is currently owned by NAWARO Engineering.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households. The project cost is $13m.
Gustrow Biogas Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
