It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Williams TRANSCO pipelines.

The project generated 1,375,676MWh of electricity.

The project got commissioned in June 2004.

Contractors Involved

KBR was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 steam turbine with 226MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of 7F.04 gas turbines, each with 171MW nameplate capacity.

Nooter/Eriksen supplied steam boiler for the project.
