The project is developed and owned by CLP Wind Farms (India) Private.
The project generates 81,200MWh electricity thereby offsetting 72,834t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $41.386m.
The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 78m high.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in February 2011.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Bangalore Electricity Supply under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 24 units of V82-1.65 MW turbines, each with 1.65MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
