The project was developed by Eskoda Enerji Uretim Pazarlama Ithalat ve Ihracat Anonim Sirketi and is currently owned by Borusan EnBW Enerji Yatirimlari ve Uretim with a stake of 100%.

The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 90,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
