Description

The project is currently owned by Oglethorpe Power with a stake of 100%.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil.

The project generated 30,863MWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of MS7001FA gas turbines, each with 180MW nameplate capacity.
