Description
The project is currently owned by Talen Energy with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is residual fuel oil. In case of shortage of residual fuel oil the plant can also run on Natural Gas. The fuel is procured from BGE Pipeline.
The project generated 83,389MWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
Siemens Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the Oil fired project. The company provided 1 unit of Impulse-reaction, Tandem-compound, Double-exhaust, Condensing Reheat steam turbine with 397MW nameplate capacity.
Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises supplied steam boiler for the project.
