Description

The project was developed by Colorado Energy Management and Genova Power Solutions. The project is currently owned by ContourGlobal.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Markwest Pinnachle, Northern Natural Gas, El Paso Natural Gas Co., Transwestern Pipeline Company, LLC.

The project generated 2,565,387MWh of electricity. The project cost is $954.002m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in September 2008.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Xcel Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Contractors Involved

Colorado Energy Management was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

The Gas fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Mitsubishi Power.

The electric generators for the project were procured from GE Power and Mitsubishi Power.

John Cockerill Group supplied steam boiler for the project.
