The project is being developed by Orsted Hornsea Project Four and is currently owned by Orsted UK.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 1,000,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $4,658.3m. The project will be spread over an area of 492km². The turbines will be mounted on a fixed type foundation.
The wind power project consists of 180 turbines.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2027. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2028.
