Description
The project was developed by Zhejiang Guangxing Hydropower Development. Datang Guizhou Power Generation and Zhejiang Guangxing Hydropower Development are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 66% and 34% respectively.
Huanghuazhai is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 174.8 million cubic meter. The project generated 221.6 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $75.3m.
The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 30MW nameplate capacity.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to China Southern Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.
