Iberdrola Renovables Sonora Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 305 hectares.
The project generates 175.2GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households, offsetting 110,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $135m.
The project consists of 389,580 modules.

Contractors Involved
Iberdrola Ingenieria y Construccion SAU was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Power Electronics Espana supplied its HEC V1500 inverters to the project site.
The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by STI Norland.
