Description

The project was developed by Acciona Energia and Zuma Energia S.A. de. The project is currently owned by Actis.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 125,000 households, offsetting 80,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $111m.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 80m high.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in January 2016.

Contractors Involved

Acciona Energia was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of AW-77/1500 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Acciona Energia is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 15 years.
