Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Jajce is a 90MW hydro power project. It is located on Pliva,Vrbas river/basin in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1954.

Description

The project is currently owned by JP Elektroprivreda Hrvatske Zajednice Herceg Bosne dd Mostar.

Jajce is a run-of-river project. The project generated 408 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved

Jajce (Jajce I) is equipped with Andritz Hydro kaplan turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 30MW nameplate capacity.

Jajce (Jajce II) is equipped with Litostroj Power francis turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 10MW nameplate capacity.

Koncar – Elektroindustrija supplied 2 electric generators for the Jajce (Jajce I). The generator capacity is 36 MVA.

Koncar – Elektroindustrija supplied 3 electric generators for the Jajce (Jajce II). The generator capacity is 12.5 MVA.
