Description
The project was developed by Mainstream Energy Solutions and RusHydro International. The project is currently owned by Mainstream Energy Solutions.
Jebba is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 3,900 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 27.6m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 6 in number. The penstock diameter is 10m.

Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The project consists of 6 units of Propeller turbines, each with 96.4MW nameplate capacity.
