Description
The project is currently owned by Saudi Electricity.
It is a gas turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is crude oil. In case of shortage of crude oil the plant can also run on Diesel.

TRICORP Engineering & Consulting was selected to render EPC services for the Jeddah Power Plant 3 (Jeddah Power Plant Phase III).
Jeddah Power Plant 3 (Jeddah Power Plant Phase I) is equipped with GE Power MS7001B gas turbines. The phase consists of 11 gas turbines with 44.6MW nameplate capacity.
Jeddah Power Plant 3 (Jeddah Power Plant Phase II) is equipped with GE Power GT11D5 gas turbines. The phase consists of 16 gas turbines with 51.7MW nameplate capacity.
Jeddah Power Plant 3 (Jeddah Power Plant Phase III) is equipped with GE Power 7E.03 gas turbines. The phase consists of 8 gas turbines with 60MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power supplied WY18L-066LLT electric generator for the Jeddah Power Plant 3 (Jeddah Power Plant Phase II).
GE Power supplied 7A6 electric generator for the Jeddah Power Plant 3 (Jeddah Power Plant Phase III).
