Jiangxi Jiujiang-3 Power Plant is a 700MW coal fired power project. It is located in Jiangxi, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in December 2002.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is anthracite. In case of shortage of anthracite the plant can also run on Bituminous.
The project got commissioned in December 2002.
Henan Lixin Power Construction Supervision and Stone & Webster were selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.
Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project.
The steam boilers for the coal fired power project have been supplied byAmec Foster Wheeler and Shanghai Boiler.
