Description
The project is currently owned by Saudi Electricity with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is crude oil. In case of shortage of crude oil the plant can also run on Diesel.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 1988.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Saudi Electricity under a power purchase agreement.
