Description
The project is currently owned by Iran Power Development.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel. The fuel is procured from Sarkhoun Refinery.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in March 2007.

Kerman Combined Cycle Power Plant (Kerman Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I) is equipped with Ansaldo Energia V94.2 gas turbines. The phase consists of 2 gas turbines with 159MW nameplate capacity.
Kerman Combined Cycle Power Plant (Kerman Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing E-Type steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 160MW nameplate capacity.
