Description

The project is developed and owned by Viet Nam Power Development.

Khe bo is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 97.8 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 25.9m and 23m respectively. The project generated 442.8 GWh of electricity.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Vietnam Electricity under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2013.

Contractors involved

Zhefu Holding Group was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of kaplan turbines, each with 50MW nameplate capacity.

Zhefu Holding Group supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 58.82 MVA.
