Description

The project was developed by Akuo Kita Solar. The project is currently owned by Pash Global with a stake of 49.9% and Akuo Energy.

Kita Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 100 hectares.

The project generates 76,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 120,000 households, offsetting 52,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in March 2020.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Energie du Mali under a power purchase agreement for a period of 28 years, starting from 2020.

Contractors involved

Jinko Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 187,000 modules each with 270W of nameplate capacity.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 21 of its Sunny Central 2200 inverters to the project site.

Akuo Kita Solar is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2020.
