GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project. The company provided 6 units of Multi-cylinder, Impulse Reaction steam turbines, each with 500MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied Hydrogen Cooled electric generator for the project.
The steam boilers for the coal fired power project have been supplied byMHI Power ZAF and Steinmuller Africa.
