Kupono Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 160 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 10,000 households, to offset 50,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $45.276m.
The solar power project consists of 100,000 modules.
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in June 2022.

The power generated from the project will be sold to Hawaiian Electric Industries under a power purchase agreement.
