Labreg Power Plant is a 420MW dual-fuel fired power project. It is located in Khenchela, Algeria. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in July 2014.

The project is currently owned by Societe Algerienne de Production de l’Electricite.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Oil.
The project got commissioned in July 2014.
Ansaldo Energia was selected to render EPC services for the dual-fuel fired power project.
Ansaldo Energia was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 3 units of AE 94.2 turbines, each with 140MW nameplate capacity.
