Lagoa do Itaenga Biomass Power Plant II is a 44MW biopower project. It is located in Pernambuco, Brazil. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2006.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

WEG Industrias was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project.

Dedini supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 150TPH.The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 510Degree Celsius.WEG Industrias supplied the electric generator for the project.
