Lahore Waste To Energy Plant, Pakistan

Lahore Waste To Energy Plant is a 40MW biopower project. It is planned in Punjab, Pakistan. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2022.

The project is being developed by Satarem Enterprises and is currently owned by Lahore Xingzhong Renewable Energy.

The project cost is expected to be around $220m.

The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Refuse which is a kind of municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project consists of 2 turbines, each with 20MW nameplate capacity.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2022.
