Description

The project was developed by Enel and is currently owned by Enel Green Power Chile with a stake of 100%.

Lalackama II Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 40 hectares.

The project generates 50,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 23,000 households, offsetting 23,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2014 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in May 2015.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Sistema Interconectado Central under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors involved

Prodiel Proyectos de Instalaciones Electricas was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

The inverters were procured from Elettronica Santerno for the project.
