Description

The project was developed by IL&FS Wind Energy and is currently owned by ORIX with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 104,800MWh electricity thereby offsetting 99,859t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $51.702m.

The Concrete towers installed at the project site are 75m high.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in September 2012.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.06kWh for a period of 25 years.

Contractors Involved

Wind World (India) was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Wind World (India) was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 63 units of WW -53 / 800 kW turbines, each with 0.8MW nameplate capacity.

Wind World (India) is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2012.
