Lapota Power Plant, Indonesia

The Lapota Power Plant is 1,140MW coal fired power project. It is planned in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2024.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Tsingshan Holding Group.

It is a steam turbine power plant.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Contractors Involved

Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction is expected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.
