The project is developed and owned by Kraftwerke Linth-Limmern.
Limmern is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project is 710m. The project generated 710.082 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $2,115.74m.

Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 250MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 4 electric generators for the project.
